Cumann Pheadair Naofa hosted an inter club U-12 football tournament on Saturday 3 September in memory of Ciaran Gallagher who played football for Warrenpoint at U-8 level to minor level and later as a reserve footballer. Ciaran was tragically killed in a road traffic accident in New York some years ago. Rostrevor, Clonduff, Bosco along with host Club Warrenpoint participated in the Tournament which was held at Pairc Liam Uí Ír. This was a very sporting and competitive tournament with excellent displays of Gaelic football. The overall winners were the home side Warrenpoint and the specially commissioned crystal trophy was presented to the winning team by the Gallagher family.
