Our U13 girls in blue travelled to Castlewellan on Sunday 4 September to compete in the first ever U13 County Blitz. Seventeen teams in total turned up and all the girls enjoyed a fantastic day of football in the glorious sunshine. The young Cumann Pheadair Naofa ladies finished top of their section, against strong opposition from their Loughinisland, Carryduff, Bryansford and Clonduff opponents, securing a place in the Quarter Finals of the Cup. Although victory was not to be theirs, this young team of girls did themselves, their club, coaches and parents proud!
