Clash of the blues in minor football league

The blues of Warrenpoint faced the sky blues of Mayobridge in the last league game of the summer on Thursday night. The young team were 2.06 to 1.03 down at half time and came out in the second half revived by Howlett’s half time talk and thye managed to play some great open football and its wasn’t long before it was 2.07 to 2.07 with ten to go but the sky blues went into fifth gear and secured a goal and a point to claim the 2 points and end the minor league for the year.
