The U16s footballers played Kilcoo on Sunday evening past and in the early stages the young kilcoo side made it hard for the point scoring an early goal! The point finished the half much stronger with goals from Peter mcCreesh and Aaron McBurney! Half time score 2-4 to 1-1. The point kept the pace high chipping over points with well worked team play finished by Alan booth in the roof of the net.
Eoghan Byrne and Lorcan Ruane came on and added a goal each but Kilcoo never gave up and kept the point working hard at the back. Final score 6-11 to 4-3. Best on the night Aaron McBurney, Shea Madden and Eoin Carr.
