Cumann Pheadair Naofa has been selected to participate in the Ulster Hurl with Me programme. The programme, which is for young camogs between the ages of 7-10, has come at an opportune time for the club as there are currently over twenty girls attending camogie coaching on Friday evenings from 6pm until 7pm at Milltown Playing Fields.
This prestigious programme will further enhance camogie in the Warrenpoint area.
This programme, which commences on Friday 27 May at Milltown Playing Fields from 6pm until 7pm is unique in that it encourages parents to attend for the six week course to assist their daughter in learning the new camogie skills. The Camogie Association will provide fully trained camogie coaches to deliver the programme.
When the programme reaches its completion, the participants will be invited to an Ulster Camogie Day at Garvaghy GAA Centre of Excellence on Saturday 27 August.
