On Tuesday 12th April at 8pm in Tyrone GAA Centre, Garvaghey, Club Chairman Eugene Gallagher, Club PRO Aislíng McGivern, Development Officer Feargal McCormack and member of senior committee Sean O’Hare were presented with their Elevate Award Certificates by Ulster GAA President Michael Hasson. Eight club representatives from across various fields were chosen to participate in the Elevate Programme in which they each attended different modules, of which there were eight in total.
The programme began on 20 February where all participants attended the Management and Leadership module and subsequent modules related to their roles within the club. Club Chairman Eugene Gallagher said they club were delighted to have been chosen as only one of ten clubs in Ulster to participate in the programme and he thanked all club volunteers for giving of their time to attend the various workshops. Eugene also paid tribute to Club Development Officer Feargal McCormack who delivered the Finance Module as part of the Elevate Programme.
The presentation ceremony saw all attendees presented with their Elevate Certificates which we have no doubt, will stand the club is great stead in going forward.
