The Ulster GAA Club Level 1 Club Officer Training Course got underway with huge numbers attending the course which was held in The Abbey Grammar School in Newry on Wednesday 15 Janaury. The annual Club Officer Development Course is being held in all nine counties of Ulster. The Club Officer Development Course is to develop the skills and knowledge base of all club officers in Ulster.
Cumann Pheadair Naofa had representatives at all seminars: Raising Funds seminar – Larry Byrne; On Line safety – Aisling McGivern; Digital Communications – Sean O’ Hare; Critical Response- Anne McCormack and GoldMark -Katrina Kernan.
Following on from this Katrina Kernan has taken on the role of delivering the GoldMark programme to our younger members through the Pointer Group. It was excellent to see the club represented across all workshops and encouraging to note that Cumann Pheadair Naofa was used as an example of best practice in relation to ICT and Communications with the website being used as exemplary material.
