Unlucky for some, but Friday 13 November saw the managers, mentors and coaches of Cumann Pheadair Naofa activities get together for an evening of thanksgiving. The purpose of the evening is to bring people together for food, drinks and entertainment as a small token of the clubs appreciation of their hard work, dedication and volunteering of time for the various teams. In one of his first addresses as Chairman, Eugene Gallagher thanked all club volunteers for their sheer dedication to the club, reminding them that the club simply would not function without their significant input. Eugene encouraged the team of coaches and members to keep the Cumann Pheadair Naofa motto at the forefront of all they do, “operating for the whole of family for the whole of life.”
