It was tough conditions for any teams to be playing but both Cumann Pheadair Naofa and Carryduff managed to brave the conditions in what turned out to be a good game of football. Within the first 15 minutes the point had managed to secure a 3 point lead but Carryduff battled the elements and at half time went in only two points down.
Carryduff started the 2nd half with a bang and in worsening conditions they managed to fire in two goals which at one point saw them lead by 1 point. But Cumann Pheadair Naofa managed to maintain their dominance and edged in front with a thundering goal from Anton Magee and at the end managed to win by 5 points. 3-9 to 2-7.
