There is much excitement this week as Rackard Cody, Manager of the Kilkenny Legends Hurling Team has announced his 25 man panel to take on a St Peter’s/Ulster select in Pairc Esler on Saturday 21 November. Cody has named a team who would challenge any All Ireland Finalsts, among his team are hurling legends Henry Shefflin, DJ Carey and JJ Delaney to name but a few. There is much interest across the Province upon the announcement of this team and anticipation is rising among the St Peter’s/Ulster team who are currently training hard under the watchful eye of experienced manger Brian Murphy. Michael Keenan, Chairman of the organising committee stated that excitement had gone into overdrive this week following the announcment from Kilkenny of the cats panel. He wanted to remind the people of Ulster that this is a one of event and to purchase tickets early for both the match and the ‘Meet and Greet’ session afterwards as tickets for both events will be limited.
