Cumann Pheadair Naofa U-21 footballers secured a great win over a very strong Bryansford team in Pairc Liam Ui Ir on Sunday 25 October with the final score Cumann Pheadair Naofa 2.14 (20) to Bryansford 2-04 (10). This was a highly contested game of football and Cumann Pheadair Naofa U21 footballers began their quest for the treble in this competition in great form. From the start the team worked well together under the pressure from a strong Bryansford side but managed to capitalise with some great scores and to lead at half time. The second half saw Bryansford continue pressing to make a mark on the game with two goals but Cumann Pheadair Naofa stood strong to win the game. Manager Bernie Ruane will be very pleased with the boys performance ahead of a tough first year in Division 1 for the vast majority of this team. Next up for the boys is Burren on Tuesday night.
