Down Ladies Gaelic Football recently hosted a Ladies Gaelic Football Information Evening in St . Malachy’s GAA Club Castlewellan. The event focused on outling the benefits of introducing Ladies Gaelic Football to clubs. Cumann Pheadair Naofa Ladies Gaelic Football administrator, Anne McCormack presented the Cumann Pheadair Naofa experience of integrating Ladies Gaelic Football to the club. In a case study presentation A journey from Introduction to Sustainability, Anne outlined how Cumann Pheadair Naofa started Ladies Gaelic in 2011 and the positive benefits to the club , including integration to club cultural, social , community and health and wellbeing activities which are enjoyed by the ladies footballers.
