Club representatives attended the 2016 Ulster GAA Club & Volunteer Conference. Over 200 delegates from the 6 provinces of Ulster attended the Conference in the  Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown. Guest speakers on the day included Crossmaglen Rangers Aaron Kernan and Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff.

The course had many workshops that were run to help support clubs and their volunteers, workshops included Gaelige as Chlub, Health is Wealth, Maximising your fundraising potential, Social Media and your Club and the 3 r’s of volunteering.  The Conference offered some fascinating insights to how clubs across Ulster are rolling out programmes and schemes in their club to support and develop their local community.

Cumann Pheadair Naofa would like to thank Ulster GAA for a fantastic day and look forward to attending the next Coaching and Games Conference which takes place on 12th November in the Hotel Kilmore in County Cavan. This will focus on improving games development and coaching within Ulster
