Tuesday saw the official launch of our upcoming 10K and 5KM Run and Charity Walk, on Sunday 20th May.
We were delighted to welcome members from our charity partners Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and Southern Area Hospice Services who well benefit from donations from our charity walk led by Martin Slevin following the 10K route. In attendance was: Damien Ruddy (KBRT), Martin Slevin (Walk Leader), Amy Hensaw (Southern Area Hospice), Micheal Moore (Event Organiser), Fergus Bradley (Event Organiser) and Kevin Heaney (KBRT).
Plans are at an advanced stage for the upcoming 10K and 5K on the Bay taking place on Sunday 20th May. Now in its 5 year the event has grown from strength to strength with organisers hoping to exceed 200 runners this year again. Registration for the event takes place on Friday 18th May from 8pm to 10pm in the clubrooms and again on the morning of the event from 8am until 10am. Entry fee is £12 for both events and participants will receive a specially commissioned medal.
