Minor Sevens

The U17 footballers attended the South Down Minor 7’s in An Riocht. Their first match was against a very strong Mayobridge side. Their second game was a good solid win over hosts An Riocht, another win followed against Annaclone/Drumgath. Finishing up second in the group they now played Burren in the Semi final. A very tough first half had the teams on 7 points each. The second half was still a very close contest with both teams racking up some fantastic scores. Unfortunately Burren managed to take the lead and won by four. A great first outing for the lads this year. Training continues until April until they begin their league campaign.
