On Friday 21 February the car loads of Warrenpoint singers, dancers and musicians travelled to Newry to participate and represent their club in the 2020 South Down Scór Sinsear Final. In front of a packed hall our Ceili, set and instrumental teams took to the stage to perform their chosen dances & tunes.
Sitting on the end of their seats the large crowd eagerly awaited the results and it soon became apparent that Warrenpoint were to be the club of the night! The first titles went to the Ceili dancers, quickly followed by the instrumental group, the title went again to the super blues and this again was a second in a row for the club. Lastly, it was to be 3/3 when the set dancers were announced as winners and this was greeted by an rapturous applause and scenes of jubilation.
