Guidelines on the Safe Return To Gaelic Games

Following The GAA, Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie Associations recently published guidelines for the Safe Return to Gaelic Games, training for adults and underage players is due to recommence on 29 June (Phase 3). All training sessions are outdoors and will initially be in small groups (no more than 10 players and 2 coaches) and on an non contact basis observing social distancing guidelines of 2 metres.

Each team returning to training will have a designated Covid-19 Supervisor who will oversee the implementation of the GAA Covid-19 Guidelines on Safe Return to Gaelic Games.

Covid-19 Club Education Module

Prior to the commencement of activity all players (parents/guardians in the case of underage players), team mentors and everyone involved in our games must complete the mandatory e-learning module (Covid -19 club education module).

The e-learning Module will be available from Thursday 18 June and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The module among other things will also explain the Health Questionnaire which must be completed by all players (parents/guardians of underage players) indicating their understanding of the risks involved.

As we look forward to the return to club activity, a club sub committee under the leadership of Club Chairman Larry Byrne is overseeing the preparations for the recommencement of our games to ensure our facilities are safe for everyone.

We look forward with anticipation to the return of Club activity and thank you for your support during these challenging times.
