The U6 footballers had their end of year presentation on Sunday morning in St Marks. The young gaels participated in a range of games and mini matches and they then welcomed senior footballer Ross McGarry who came up to join in the fun and present the annual awards. Ross presented Charlie O Hare with player of the year and James Ryan most improved player.  Both players had great attendance records and were excellent all year especially on our tournament days.

This group of young players, 60 in total for the year were lead and coached by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic managers and mentors including Colm Rice, Sean Doherty, Damien Ryan, Chris McShane, Dermot Mathers, Brian Og Connolly and Gerard Leddy lead by Kieran Grant. The boys and girls participated in over 30 training sessions and participated in numerous blitzes and friendly matches. A team with lots of talent and ability and who we look forward to watching in years to come.
